Overview
Benedict Blight was one of the four mages who founded modern mage society. His perfect healing made him a symbol of hope before his discovery of cursed magic turned him against the system he helped build.
History remembers the resulting conflict as the First Great Wizarding War. Although Blight is believed dead, his ideas and the forbidden discipline he created continue to shape every later age.
Personality
Brilliant, theatrical, contemptuous and philosophically absolutist. Blight can recognise ability in an opponent and bargain pragmatically, but treats other people as instruments of his right to act without restraint.
Magic And Skills
Blight begins as a peerless healer. His later research creates cursed magic, an illicit system that can ignore rules binding ordinary spells.
Appearance
Blight’s founder-era physical design remains TBC. His modern presentation is tied to a protected identity reveal and is omitted here.
