Overview
Arcaneum is mage society’s central school and one of its most important political institutions. Founded by Reinhardt Rosenberg, Kyoko Kaedehara, Vincent Vetus and Benedict Blight, it preserves their names through four student houses.
The school teaches Modern Magic widely while supporting advanced Ancient study, artefact work, magical zoology and specialised research.
Campus And System
Students are sorted with the Ley Resonance Mirror according to resonant values rather than moral worth:
- House Rosenberg — courage and decisive action.
- House Kaedehara — kindness and care for magical life.
- House Vetus — curiosity and intelligence.
- House Blight — power, ambition and cunning.
The houses are not “good” and “evil” categories.
