Overview
Mana is the usable, positively charged energy distributed by the Ley Lines. It sustains life and supplies mages with the raw fuel transformed into spells and Expressions.
Casting does not annihilate mana. It expends the charge and leaves a carrier that must return to the cycle.
Properties
A mage draws mana through a functional Gate, shapes it using Ancient Magic or Modern Magic, and produces a magical effect. Once used, the depleted carrier becomes Mana Waste.
Pure mana cannot coexist cleanly with cursed energy. Their contact produces purification and corrosion rather than a stable mixture.
