Overview
A Catalyst is an artefact that assists the conversion of mana into magic. It performs a role analogous to part of Magic Operation and can improve stability, power or precision.
The most common example is a low-grade wand used by novice Modern casters.
Operation
A catalyst does not supply unlimited mana or teach the user intent. It modifies how an existing magical process is performed.
