The Spirit Bangle contains the artificial spirit Astaroth and limits access to her immense power. In 2022 it becomes the interface through which Ken can stabilise his Lingering Curse and form a spirit bond.
It is a unique Vetus artefact, not one of the named “Of Vetus” personal-series items.
Containment And Symbiosis
The Spirit Bangle is found in connection with Project Astaroth and used to reseal Asta after Lisa’s death in 1892.
In 2022 Archie brings the artefact into Ken’s treatment. Asta and Ken enter a symbiotic arrangement: she stabilises the uncontrolled acceleration while he supplies embodiment and relationship. Asta can manifest as the Astablade, absorbing magic cut by the weapon.
By 2045 Ken has passed the Bangle and Asta to his daughter, who is training toward the next Knight Of Spirits role. Her name and exact succession scene remain TBC.

The Bangle can be prison, medical interface or shared tool depending on whether Asta’s agency is recognised.
