Overview
Spirits are magical beings capable of contracts, relationships and independent identity. They are not interchangeable with ordinary spells or artefacts, even when one is contained within an object.
Kyoko Kaedehara’s founder legacy and Ken’s story both centre on how mages relate to them.
Nature And Bonds
Spirits can supply power, inhabit artefacts and form agreements with people. A forced contract and a voluntary symbiosis are mechanically and ethically distinct.
