A Signature Technique is a character’s defining high-level application of their magic or combat system. It describes narrative and technical importance, not a single source category.
Classification
A Signature may represent the fullest area form of an Expression, a transformation, a contract-mediated technique or an artefact-dependent system. It should be documented with its actual source rather than promoted automatically into an innate Expression.
Examples include Event Horizon for Archie, Symbiotic Ascension for Miranda and the Crimson Chronicle field used by Lilia.
History And Development
The term is a classification used by the project’s magical profiles rather than a separate source of power.
Role And Significance
It allows visually or narratively defining moves to receive clear treatment without flattening the metaphysics that produce them.
