Overview
The Dilated Barrier is Archie’s mature automatic defence. A nearly microscopic field combines spatial deceleration with temporal acceleration so incoming matter reaches destructive entropy before contact.
Archie can suppress the lethal effect to permit trusted touch.
Development And Operation
The earlier Kinetic Barrier simply arrests momentum and requires active maintenance. The mature barrier is more efficient but incurs lifespan cost when its temporal component activates.
