Curse: Trial creates an environment in which Judgement prosecutes a target before a manifested fair judge. The result can impose a supernatural sentence.
Sentences
The target must defend themself while Judgement acts as prosecution. The personified judge is defined as fair rather than automatically loyal to the user.
- Imprisonment prevents movement for a duration proportional to the sentence.
- Forfeiture removes currently absorbed and stored mana.
- Death kills only when certain incrimination is established.
On retrial, victory by the accused applies the sentence to Judgement instead.
History And Development
Used by the modern Harbinger Of Judgement.
Role And Significance
The retrial clause makes procedure a genuine risk for the prosecutor rather than decorative justification for power.
