About
| Field | Information |
|---|---|
| Name | Curse - Finality |
| User | The End |
| Layers | Cessation / Erasure / Epilogue |
| Concept | Forces active processes to conclude |
Curse: Finality allows the End to declare that an active process has reached its conclusion. It does not merely cancel an effect; it imposes the end of its duration or variable.
Three Levels
Cessation
An active process is declared finished. A spell in flight ends and returns to Mana Waste.
Erasure
A local variable such as friction or sound is ended within a field.
Epilogue
A “Full Stop” is placed on the Ley Lines within a ten-metre radius. Mana cannot be drawn, souls cannot be processed and reality enters absolute stasis.
Operation Zero also associates End with an entropy field that doubles Archie’s temporal expenditure; the exact relation between that field and the three named levels remains TBC.
History And Development
Used by the first-ranked Harbinger in the modern Order.
Role And Significance
Finality turns the end of a process into an offensive declaration and makes the Harbinger leader the administrator of closure.
