Brelia is a Wiisel mabeast and Miranda Cosglow’s best friend. Wiisels can transform their form and viscosity, letting Brelia become tools, weapons, shields, restraints or fluid shapes as a situation demands.
Brelia is the confirmed reference partner for Miranda’s Symbiotic Ascension, in which the two share senses, emotion and control of an ascended form.
Plot
Brelia accompanies Miranda through her work as a professor and poacher hunter. The Wiisel’s adaptability lets the pair solve problems without a fixed weapon or spell list.
When Miranda uses Symbiotic Ascension with Brelia, they temporarily merge life essence and awareness. The resulting form is powerful but shares risk: lethal harm and exhaustion do not remain confined to one partner.

Brelia demonstrates mabeast personhood through relationship rather than exposition. The flexibility of a Wiisel also makes Miranda’s unconventional combat system visually and tactically distinct from ordinary casting.
