The Bow Of Vetus, also called the Bow Of The Heroine, converts magic cast by its user into arrows. Its output scales with the wielder’s reserves, and advanced use supports barrages and homing shots.

Mila Cosglow is its current confirmed wielder during WOC2.

Operation

Eva Everdeen wields the Bow during the Second Great Wizarding War. It later passes to Mila Cosglow, Miranda’s daughter and apprentice.

The Bow’s dependence on the user’s magical reserves distinguishes it from the Sword, which can operate for a non-magical wielder. The exact route by which Mila receives it and the role it plays before her death remain TBC.

History And Development

Created by Vetus; wielded by Eva Everdeen in the Second War; later used by Mila Cosglow.

Role And Significance

The Bow links the modern Arcaneum generation to a Second-War heroine and gives Mila a confirmed combat identity beyond her relationships.
