Soul Transmission is a forbidden technique created by Vincent Vetus to continue through his descendants. It transfers a persistent intelligence rather than relying on ordinary resurrection after Ley-Line processing.
Its existence is a major spoiler for the Vetus lineage.
Known Operation
Vincent Vetus develops Soul Transmission and becomes its first user. By the WOC era he inhabits Selene Vetus, the Moon. Selene later has Neo and dies before 2045, after which the transmission continues into her son.
The technique preserves Vincent’s plan and knowledge across generations, but the exact division between host personality and transmitted identity remains unresolved. The wiki therefore avoids treating every Selene or Neo action as automatically Vincent’s unless the source establishes it.
Older planning that assigns Soul Transmission to Archie is superseded. Archie’s copied information in Black is a separate event and does not continue Archie as a personality.
History And Development
Created by Vincent in or after the founder era; remains hidden through the WOC series and becomes central to The Apprentice Of Chronicles.
Role And Significance
Soul Transmission turns ancestry into infrastructure for immortality. It also makes identity a contested space: a family legacy becomes a literal inhabitant rather than a metaphor.
