The Project Astaroth Laboratory is the research and containment site at the centre of the 1892 Secrets Of Rosenberg incident. Its operators study or exploit an artificial spirit whose existence the Arcaneum students are not told honestly.
By the time of the decisive ambush, the facility is damaged or destroyed.
Facility Role
Archie and Black arrive through a retrieval assignment framed around an artefact. Lisa leads them toward the truth: Astaroth is an abused person rather than an object.
Morningstar isolates Archie in or around the ruined facility and nearly defeats him with preparation and artefacts. Astaroth’s core enables Archie’s spatial-precision breakthrough.
Meredith murders Lisa, Astaroth annihilates Meredith and the spirit is resealed in the Spirit Bangle. The catastrophe ends the possibility of a quiet rescue and creates the personal schism behind the Second Great Wizarding War.
