A Nexus Point is a causal junction whose later and earlier events create one another. Travelling into it does not guarantee the power to produce a different outcome.
The trilogy’s central example is withheld because naming its participants and event would answer a protected mystery.
Causal Structure
Lilia eventually travels to Mia’s final night seeking truth and prevention. Her confrontation and Mia’s response become part of the event Tony and past Lilia remember. Mia chooses death both to prevent Black from claiming her as a vessel and to preserve the sequence that can ultimately defeat him.
After the death, future Lilia gives Selene a detailed account of what follows. That information enables the Moon/Vetus conspiracy to guide later events from the background. The future therefore helps create both the grief that causes the journey and the knowledge network surrounding it.
This loop does not prove Archie foresaw and engineered Lilia’s exile. His trust in her is intuition, not omniscient authorship of the Nexus.
History And Development
The Mia–Lilia loop is established across the 2024 death and the later Nexus Arc.
Role And Significance
The Nexus turns revelation into responsibility. Characters cannot dismiss the past as a closed mistake when their future choices are already among its causes.
