The Mirror Of Deflection is a Special-grade artefact that repels an incoming effect using the same source while duplicating the force or damage returned.
Lilia mounts it into the Staff Of Vetus for combat use.
Operation
The Mirror lets Lilia survive attacks she cannot out-power directly, including Blight’s Severance during the Wurzelheim massacre.
Its mounted position makes the Staff a combined amplification-and-deflection platform. The grade is 4★, below the Staff’s Legendary classification, so the Mirror’s maximum defensive threshold should not be assumed infinite.
“Mirror Of Reflection” is an obsolete wording error; current canon consistently uses Deflection.
History And Development
Created by Vetus; later acquired by Lilia and fitted to her Staff.
Role And Significance
The artefact reflects Lilia’s combat identity: knowledge and redirection let her remain in fights against opponents whose raw power exceeds her own.
