The Map Of Veracity answers a locatable question by drawing a rough target area on a map. The answer must correspond to a specific person or object existing within current spacetime.

It provides direction, not explanation or perfect coordinates.

Question Rules

After Mai, Lilia and Tony converge at the Argentinian ruins, the artefact is used to ask where Tony’s sister’s killer is. The answer marks a broad area around a Greenwich cemetery.

The group finds Mark, but the rough target does not explain whether he is the killer, a witness, a vessel or a connection. The Map is truthful at the level of location while leaving interpretation to the users.

“Book Of Veracity” appears in older source wording and is superseded. The canonical object is the Map Of Veracity.

History And Development

Created by Vetus; recovered or used during the 2025 Argentinian Domain sequence.

Role And Significance

The Map makes truth directional rather than self-explanatory. It can bring investigators to the right place without protecting them from the wrong conclusion.
