UserArchie Rosenberg
FunctionPays temporal differences with remaining lifespan
Basic rateOne changed second costs at least one second
ScalingWider or prolonged differences multiply cost

Life Dilation is the payment rule attached to Archie’s temporal authority. Time altered for the world is deducted from the time remaining to him.

Cost Model

Life Dilation is not the source of Tempus; it is the cost that makes the contracted exception sustainable. The Ley Lines supply power and permission, while Archie supplies personal duration.

The All Seeing Eyes also consume lifespan. The Dilated Barrier does not drain time merely by existing, but each activation of its temporal component does. End’s Operation Zero field doubles the rate of expenditure, turning defensive reflex into accelerated death.

History And Development

Bound to Archie’s use of the Mage Of Time contract; exact relationship to Reinhardt’s cost model is TBC.

Role And Significance

The mechanic converts abstract sacrifice into arithmetic. Every rescue is a decision about how much future Archie gives away.
