| Name | Entropic Mana |
| Definition | Empty metaphysical carrier left when mana is spent |
| Ordinary fate | Recovered and revitalised by the Ley Lines |
| Cursed use | Charged with intense emotion outside the normal cycle |
Entropic Mana, commonly called Mana Waste, is the depleted carrier left after mana has been used. The Ley Lines draw it back into their recovery system rather than allowing spent magic to vanish.
Cursed magic begins with the same empty class of vessel but recharges it by a different, damaging route.
Lifecycle
Ordinary Recovery
Mana use spends the positive charge but leaves a carrier. Experience extracted through the Cycle Of Souls re-energises that carrier. Rule Four is therefore respected: magic transforms what exists rather than creating or destroying energy absolutely.
Cursed Charging
Cursed practitioners fill empty carriers with intense emotion—usually negative—without relying on the Lines. The resulting power is independent and law-breaking. Once spent, however, the damaged carrier is still drawn toward the planetary system and introduces Corrosion.
Combat Relevance
Strength’s ability tracks Mana Waste generated during a fight and converts that accumulation into exponentially increasing burden. The End’s Operation Zero field accelerates entropy costs around Archie.
History And Development
Entropic vessels are part of the natural cycle; cursed techniques and Harbinger powers later turn their recovery state into a weapon.
Role And Significance
Waste is the accounting layer of the magic system. It records that power has been used and makes repeated escalation physically consequential.
