Morningstar is the lead scientist associated with Project Astaroth and an antagonist of Archie Rosenberg during the 1892 Secrets Of Rosenberg incident.
Through preparation, mobility and a large artefact arsenal, Morningstar nearly defeats the prodigy. Archie’s solution becomes the breakthrough that transforms Spatium from overwhelming force into surgical control.
Plot
Morningstar isolates Archie during the ambush at the ruined Project Astaroth laboratory. A broad artefact arsenal and controlled movement deny him the safe space needed for his usual overwhelming attacks.
Using the magical core Astaroth created for him, Archie makes exact spatial cuts and develops the precision needed for teleportation, portals and controlled spatial attacks. He defeats Morningstar and later turns that core into the Dilator.
Role
Thematic Function
Morningstar is the adversary who makes Archie change how he uses power. The fight establishes that raw output is insufficient against planning and gives the later destruction of the Dilator thematic roots in the moment precision was first earned.
