Breach Inc. is a wealthy plebeian industrial company chain connected to the scientists who discover magic through artefacts left by Vincent Vetus. Its research becomes Project Astaroth.
Meredith leads the company during the 1892 crisis and arranges protection around her daughter Lisa.
Project Astaroth
Meredith appears to arrange bodyguards and cooperation to protect Lisa, but uses her daughter to lead Archie, Black and the institutions back to Astaroth. Her plan is to take the spirit’s power rather than honour an agreement with magekind.
The organisation combines human military equipment, scientists and magical artefacts during the 1892 ambush. Morningstar brings a wide artefact arsenal and nearly defeats Archie through preparation.
Meredith ultimately kills Lisa as leverage against Astaroth. Asta annihilates her, and the catastrophe becomes a foundational cause of Black’s anti-plebeian ideology.
