The Baldric Of Requirement is a Legendary wearable armoury. Objects secured against the wearer’s back disappear into its personal subspace and can later be recalled by will.
Its ownership history and the weapons carried inside it are protected beyond the object’s basic operation.
Operation
Lilia recovers the Baldric on an earlier expedition but rarely needs it while the Key gives her access to the larger Archive.
In WOC2 she gives it to Tony with its stored armoury and the Sword Of Vetus. The transfer gives permanently non-magical Tony an equipment system that can deliver the one defined Vetus weapon designed to work without innate magic.
History And Development
Created by Vetus; recovered by Lilia; transferred with its armoury to Tony in WOC2.
Role And Significance
The Baldric turns Lilia’s collection into Tony’s practical agency. It gives him options without rewriting his soul into a conventional mage.
