|---|---|
| Name | Ayutthaya Ruins |
| Type | Historic ruin site containing a Vetus Domain |
| Country | Thailand |
| Primary artefact | Book Of Memories |
| Trial theme | Cycle Of Magic and cooperative problem-solving |
The Ayutthaya Ruins contain the Vetus Domain protecting the Book Of Memories. Tony reaches the site while searching for evidence about Mia, but entry requires magic he does not possess.
His encounter with Lilia turns the obstacle into their first working partnership.
Domain
Tony travels to the ruins first and discovers that his research cannot substitute for magical access. Blight contacts him in a mindscape around this period, offering power under conditions not immediately revealed.
Lilia enters the Domain with him. Its chambers force the pair to combine her casting with his pattern recognition. Tony realises that the Mana pillar activates only after the other prerequisites complete the cycle: mana is the refreshed result rather than an isolated starting switch.
The final chamber releases the Book Of Memories, which Lilia adds to the Archive. The artefact allows both characters to approach their different memories of Mia.
History And Development
Created by Vincent Vetus in an earlier era; cleared by Lilia and Tony in 2025.
Role And Significance
Ayutthaya establishes the series’ adventure grammar: a real historic landscape, a hidden educational Domain, an artefact and a relationship developed through solving rather than exposition alone.
