The Archive Sealing is a late-series event involving the Archive and the Key Of Requirement.

Who is contained, how the manoeuvre works and what survives are withheld from this mirror.

Operating Sequence

Blight is still acting through Tony when Lilia forces him and Black through the active frame. Lilia never steps into the Archive during the manoeuvre.

After the frame returns to Key form, maximum output from the Staff Of Vetus exceeds the Key’s 5★ defensive threshold. The destruction closes the only entrance and exit. The Archive survives with Black, Blight and Tony inside.

This replaces older shorthand claiming Lilia destroys her entire Archive. What she destroys is access and, with it, her ability to reach the repository safely.

History And Development

Occurs in the 2027 final battle and lasts until access is restored in 2045.

Role And Significance

The sealing is victory by postponement. Lilia saves the outside world but turns her life’s work and Tony’s body into a prison she cannot face for eighteen years.
